Overview
Suffixe helps you learn French noun gender. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. Suffixe is operated by Mohammad Assad.
Information we collect
When you sign in with Google, we receive your account identifier and email address from Google. We store your learning progress (review history, streak, daily goal, module progress, and app settings) in our database so your progress can sync across devices.
Information stored on your device
Your theme preference (light, dark, or system) is saved locally on your device. Learning data is also cached locally so the app can work offline between syncs.
How we use your information
We use your account and progress data only to provide the app: signing you in, saving your reviews, scheduling practice with spaced repetition, and restoring your progress when you sign in on another device.
What we do not do
Suffixe does not show ads, does not sell your personal information, and does not use third-party analytics or advertising trackers.
Service providers
We use Supabase to host authentication and your synced learning data, and Google Sign-In for account creation. If you subscribe to Suffixe Pro, Apple or Google processes payment and RevenueCat helps us verify your subscription status. These providers process data on our behalf to run the app.
Subscriptions
Suffixe offers a 1-month free trial with full access to the app. After the trial, you may continue for $0.99/month through an in-app subscription. Subscription status is checked through RevenueCat using your store account; we do not receive your full payment card details.
Data retention and deletion
Your data is kept while your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Account → Delete account. Deletion permanently removes your account and synced progress from our servers.
Children
Suffixe is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes
We may update this policy as the app evolves. The in-app version is always the current one. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
